GEAUX GIFTS EXPANDS SERVICES BY OPENING NEW CAFÉ PRESS STORE TO THEIR CUSTOMER BASE



    /Louisiana News Articles/ - BATON ROUGE, LA, January 23, 2006 - Geaux Gifts, a Baton Rouge Louisiana based company, announced today the expansion of its business offerings with the opening of a second online store. Beginning in 2005, Geaux Gifts opened their first online store through eBay to a nationwide market. The store offered clever sports-related designs catering to a Louisiana sports fan market, but was only able to offer their designs on a limited amount of products. These restrictions limited there ability to cater to a wider customer base. With today's announcement the company's entire product line offering has been increased by almost 200%.

"We are very excited about launching this new store site, it will enable us to provide our customers with the designs they love on more than just T shirts. We have always wanted to branch out our offering and felt this was the best way to do it. We are now able to offer our designs on a number of products including, children's wear, outerwear, mugs, caps, magnets, stickers, and many more products," explains GeauxGifts founder Eileen Zachar. "Unfortunately our other store could not support such a broad product output. This is why we are so excited about the new Caf Press store, we feel it broadens our offerings and also allows us to expand our business into different areas as well."

Zachar explains that Geaux Gifts started as almost a fluke, "My boyfriend Darin and I were looking at some T-Shirts that we thought were clever and we both said these would be great if we made something like this, but more for Louisiana Sports Fans," Zachar's boyfriend, Darin Cooper a successful Baton Rouge architect and Geaux Gifts Co-Founder, assisted her with the start up and initial designs. "I don't know how I could have done this without him, we are both perfectionists and he has been really wonderful at giving constructive feedback to me. I have always valued his opinions, and he has provided a lot of input which has helped us grow the business." Zachar and Cooper are both avid LSU fans and alumni, "We actually met about 3 years ago tailgating with mutual friends at LSU games... we started out as friends." The rest is history for the enterprising young couple.

Starting today, Geaux Gifts customers will be able to go on to the new store and not only purchase a multitude of products with their current designs, but they are also launching 2 additional outlets through this store. FOUR ON THE FLOOR DESIGNS is their offering to dog lovers of all breeds and EZTEES FUNNY TEES is an ode to the witty sense of humor of their founder. Both outlets will also be able to offer their designs on a multitude of products as well. Newly created designs will be made available for sale over the next few weeks, beginning with a new line of sports designs with a Baseball focus and a Holiday Store which will change its offerings continually for upcoming holidays. Additional designs for the primary Geaux Gifts store are constantly updated each month.

"We send out a monthly newsletter which allows our customers to see our new designs, and get the latest information on new outlets we are opening through the online store. It also allows us to provide return customers exclusive discounts and sales to reward them for their loyalty to our business," adds Zachar.
