NTG AWARDED U.S. GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION SCHEDULE CONTRACT
GSA IT Schedule 70 contract provides U.S. government accounts with access to NTG's comprehensive suite of Tier IV data center, secure offsite data backup, application hosting, and business continuity / disaster recovery service offerings.
/Louisiana News Articles/ - BATON ROUGE, LA, December 16, 2005 - Network Technology Group, Inc., a leading provider of Tier IV data center services, secure offsite data backup, application hosting, and business continuity / disaster recovery services, today announced it has been awarded a five-year schedule contract (#GS-35F-0070S) by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). As a result, NTG's services are now included among the range of professional information technology offerings provided by GSA to federal agencies.
GSA is a centralized federal procurement and property management agency created by the U.S. Congress to improve government efficiency and help federal agencies better serve the public. The GSA provides purchasing and requisition assistance on behalf of federal agencies for office space, equipment, telecommunications, information technology, supplies and services. The inclusion of NTG's service offerings to the GSA schedule enables the GSA to bolster its list of IT products and services with new and innovative solutions for Tier IV data center services.
Under the contract award, the GSA will now make available to all federal agencies, NTG's portfolio of Tier IV data center service offerings, which includes the NTG DataVault secure offsite data backup service and the company's Louisiana-based business continuity center, offering fully-appointed, temporary workspace options for businesses affected by disastrous events.
